ABOUT US
Moko Club Huntly
Welcome to our world-class early childhood education centre, located right here in Huntly West Primary School!
OUR STORY
More Than Just Childcare
We’re more than just a childcare facility – we’re a team of passionate educators who believe that every child deserves the best start in life.
Our focus is on providing a safe and nurturing environment where tamariki can play, have fun, and learn. We believe that play-based learning is the best way to help young children develop the skills they need to thrive.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Kaitiakitanga – Caring for All
We follow the Māori philosophy of kaitiakitanga, which emphasises caring for ourselves, others, and the environment around us. By instilling these values in our tamariki, we’re helping to create a better future for all.
Caring for Ourselves
We teach tamariki to understand and value themselves, building confidence, self-awareness, and emotional resilience from an early age.
Caring for Others
Through collaborative play and guided interactions, children learn empathy, kindness, and how to build meaningful relationships with peers and whānau.
Caring for Our Environment
We nurture a deep respect for the natural world, encouraging tamariki to explore, protect, and connect with the environment around them.
OUR TEACHERS
Experienced & Dedicated Educators
Our experienced and qualified teachers are dedicated to helping tamariki reach their full potential. We use the latest research-based methods to provide high-quality care and education, and we’re constantly adapting and improving our approach to ensure that every child receives the best possible support.
